"Bagger 288", worlds largest bucket wheel excavator. At least at the time I had built this model, but I think it still is. Was back in the press recently, when it was moved to a new location. So this fascinating piece of machinery is still on duty in an open pit mine. My model had the crawlers from the 856 bulldozer and some other smaller rubber crawlers. Due to lack of parts, I had to use some midsized technic wheels as "replacement crawlers".
