Building a white truck
was a good way to use those white rims I got plenty of. I thought
that a heavy wrecker had to look sort of "mean", so I
added a cow catcher, which took me quite some time to built until
I was satisfied with the result (including to solve the problem
that the hood still had to be openable).
The exhaust pipes, air filters, fuel tanks and sun visor are still
the same as the Kenworth's, but to make this truck a Peterbilt,
I had to built different headlights, footboards, fenders, etc. The
hood also has a different shape, so the cabin is two studs smaller
this time.
The trucks still lacks an engine and the whole " wrecking part".
I will finish this project as soon as I get my hands on sufficient
reference material for the towing mechanism.
